Handlebar damper flex

G'day All, I've just put some risers on my low rider s and now the dampers seem to flex heaps, the bolts are tight so I'm guessing that the extra weight and leverage is too much for the rubber, does anyone know if this is normal?

Installing polyurethane bushing will help. Increased height, increased leverage/strain, just the laws of physics.

That's good i thought i had installed wrong somehow, cheers I'll get some polyurethane ones, thanks for the help.

i think your forks need dropping down a bit, it would affect the bikes handling. then again you probally like swan larger too hhhaaa i got mine from ebay about 44 bucks. from a mob in queensland
