no no.. they are great. I dont exaclty have a qualified opinion though. Very limited exp on my part and have only been rolling stock prior but, never really had a problem with stock. Definitely a huge improvement that took me a while to appreciate it since the roads around here a smooth as glass.
ODC switched the spirings from ohlins to eibach a little while after i got mine though. Not sure why... they were super stoked about it.
From my understanding, they switched because the quality was the same if not better, and they were able to deliver the specific specs that ODC wanted for their product.

Sounds about right. Eibach isn't a cut-rate spring. Lots of pro race teams in lots of different series use them. They are very acquainted with building to a customer spec in low volumes.
I have 14" Hagons. The least expensive ones. No doubt the fancy adjustable stuff is even better, but these are far superior to the stock shocks, and were only $200 or so. When you call to order them, they will ask you a few questions about your weight, passengers, riding style, etc, and custom assemble a set for you.
13.25 Ohlins HD215's built by Howard here, at first I thought they were too firm and I'd done my dough but after 1200km's or so they have become alot nicer, trick for mine was closing the rebound circuit 4 clicks from the base setting. Bike has become a lot more compliant and stable and traction on tight corners increased greatly. They ooze quality but you do pay for it.

I spoke to Howard myself. I think my rub is the adaptation of the sporty shocks to a dyna application, I believe because of this my choice will be a set of ODC Trackers built specifically for the machine they are going on. Appreciate all feedback and photos !

ODC seems to make a fine product but oil filled coilover shocks are all the same basic design. Except for the very first one built a hundred years ago, they're all adaptations.
