Is a 2018 low rider as smooth as a 2017 low rider
I know the 2018s are not Dynas but I am comparing against one. I don't care about vibes below 50mph or idle shake.
Part of the draw toward Harleys for Me "IS the Vibration", the Harley Davidson History and of course the Early Days Biker Image.
Like buying a Decaf Coffee... Why Bother? lol
Its All Good though.

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Regardless of what you do or how much money you spend on a 2017 Lowrider, a 2018 Lowrider will still be a better bike.
I bought the same Upper Engine Mount that he uses and I also bought the Solid Aluminum (with No Rubber) handle riser Bushings. I was Pleasantly Surprised that the bike does seem to Handle Better AND has quite a bit More Vibration now, both of which I really like on a Harley.
The "Aftermarket" Upper Engine Mount keeps the engine from moving Side to Side but, still lets it vibrate frontwards and backwards, by doing this it helps keep the rear wheel In Line because our rear Swing Arm is Mounted to the Rear of the Transmission which is mounted to the engine, so if the Engine moves Side to Side much at all it will cause some rear wheel movement.
I have not looked into it but, if there were Solid Mount front and rear Engine Mounts for this model that I could install on my bike to replace the Stock Rubber Mount ones, I would.
I really liked the Vibration on my 96 Softail Custom, with the Rigid Mounted engine (engine mounted directly to frame). The faster I rode the more the vibration. I would have looked harder for one of those bikes but, I wanted the newer 6 speed with the Overdrive 6th gear for long rides out on the highways.
