Default OIl change question

I was just at the service guy, trying to buy oil for oil change, i want to do at home, like I did 2 years ago.
But he said I need to change three different oils...I guess transmission also and another one.
And I asked him, dont I have to chane only main oil?
He just changed transmission oil few months ago...
Is he bullshitting me or not?

+1 on motor oil, trans. oil and primary oil. If you ask what type or viscosity for what hole stand by for some remarks.

Yes, you have to do all 3. It’s like doing 3 oil changes but only replacing 1 filter which is the oil filter. If you can do an oil change, you can change the trans and primary oil. Plenty of videos on YouTube and we’re here if you have any questions.

I do my trans and primary every 2nd oil change. I change my oil religiously early. Just a habit of mine.

Read your owners manual to answer your question and get you a service manual if you decide to do your own work.
Oil threads are good to worthless depending on who answers. And people just like your obvious inexperience will answer your questions on here.

After studying the owners manual and service manual, spend some time on YouTube and find one that most matches the service manual to get it all in your head.

I change all 3 every 2k. I know that sounds paranoid but for 40 bucks and a half hour of my time, it’s a small price to pay for piece of mind.

OP, I have a service manual for 2015 dynas, if you’re interested, pm me.

Again- refer to your owner's manual. You can also read the hundreds, if not thousands, of posts on oil on this site.
