I have a twin cam. But to me it's missing something! My old EVO sporty would set off car alarms and building alarm on a late night cruise through towns, my TC won't
I quite enjoyed setting things off!
But choose a bike that's in your price range and go from there!
not the same. Neck rakes and rear strut span vary.
Something else few ever mention is the passenger pegs. The 91-05 bikes have frame-mounted passenger pegs. The 06-17 bikes have swingarm-mounted pegs. Most passengers seem to prefer the old style. Less vibration.

I think is what I said. I also mentioned rakes.
Fat Bob = 29
Street Bob = 30
Low Rider = 30.5
Super Glide = 29
Wide Glide = 34 (longer 21 in front whell want help much)
Switch Back = 29.9 (heavier front will take its toll)
I know most will probably disagree but Im a fan of the EVO Dynas, mid 90s through 1998 which was the last year for the EVO engine in Dynas. There are plenty of them out there with low miles at reasonable prices. In my opinion, the EVO is the last REAL Harley engine with direct lineage to the Knucklehead of 1936. As I said, others will probably disagree and Im sure they will! Good luck in your search.
I agree about evolution dyna, I bought a 1998 wide glide about 1 Year ago. I also believe that the evolution motor is probably the best motor produced by Harley. This conversation can go on for days, but just look up twin cam problems...there are many. Biggest problem is cam chain tensioner.
I would look for 1996-1998 dyna.
Go with the one that excites you the most. Test ride a few, little changes end up making a different ride.
I'm extremely happy with my FXDLS, never heard anyone not happy with one. Has a 110 engine, cruise control, ABS, better factory suspension. But all of that was icing for me because it was the bike that excited me the most before I knew that.
Pick the one you'll look back at when you walk away.
