Default Exhaust issue! Need Help !!!

Hi! Long time reading, and it´s my first real post.
I got 07 Street Bob, black denim, sure.
I´m thinking about a good exhaust, but not too loud, I´m new in the neighborhoods, and I don´t need enemies.
I really like how the samson Bg3 Street Sweepers or Vance & Hines Bigshots fits on the bike, but I don´t have reference on how loud there are.
My former bike was a Sportster 883 with SE II, and I think a little bit louder wouldn´t mind for the neighbors cause they have the habit to ear the sporty.
I need your opinion on that, I do not mind if the exhaust is noisy at high rev, but I would like to have a quiet one, on low rev until I leave the neighbor, so I can still be a nice guy who loves bikes, and not the fxxx biker of the neighborhood.

Thanks to all!!! Blue Skies!

I just installed the Big Shots a couple of days ago and they sound great. I leave for work at 5:30 AM so I have to try to be quiet too. As long as you don't wind her up, it's not too loud. That'sjust my opinion though. If they are too loud for you, V&H ofers quiet baffles.

I'll second Catfish on that. I have Bigshots Staggered, and they are loud if you roll hard on the throttle. The "quiet baffles" aren't really quiet, they are more of a deeper sound.

The Big Shots are loud when you flick the wrist but not so bad at normal roll. I have Short shots and I'm cutting the baffles ,cause in my mind they aren't loud enough, but thats just me.

Thanks guys,

Great help, I think that Big shots could match with my neighbors.
Do you know if there are louder than SE ??? Do you I need to tune my EFI, if I only change the exhaust?

Thanks for helping!

I really like the 2in1 Reinhart, but I want to keep a retro look out of my Street B.
I ear told about the power increment this exhaust provide to the bike, has to be quite funny!!
Thanks!

i have run bigshot staggereds on my wideglide for three years and they are loud and get louder with age. lol I was on a run with some friends, one had python slip ons on his heritage and they were the loudest of any of the bikes (but I think he has modded his mill and isn't running a stock twinkie 88 anymore)! For your bob I like the look of the rhienhardt slip ons. another buddy of mine has the black denim bob with that setup ( and apehangers) and it is very sweet . sound like the V & H to me, personally I like the look of them better on the SB than I do the staggereds (and I run the staggereds myself). i agree the 2 into 1 is the best for performance and they sound good, but i also thinkthey take away from the theme of the bob. the bigshots are not as good performance wise as2:1 but still with the powerchamber desgin they are pretty good for performance. the pythons are the loudest of the three from what i've heard. but i think any of these would be safe in the neighborhood as long as youre easy on the wick...however all will also set off car alarms with a little twist...gotta love it.
