I got 99 miles into my last full tank with no fuel light coming on. I refueled and was only able to get 2.8galons in to it. So that puts me right at 35mpg. I have always filled my motorcycles standing up strait off the stand to get as much fuel in as possible. I noticed on the Dyna tank when I do this it seems to have a little more capacity if I it lean over towards the stand a bit. Do you guys fill up on the stand or standing strait up?
I've always filled with it on the stand, the fill it at the highest point like that. 35mpg sounds normal!
Also nice to hear you found out it has a tank lift, makes a little more sense a to why the fuel gauge and light were inaccurate... more so than normal LOL. and maybe your run at 80-90mph probably put a little hurting on the fuel mileage! oh well, cant say I havent done the same.
