Am I missing something as I slack off the clutch cable as much as it will go, there is not much slop/free play in the clutch lever so as to be able to remove the cable from the lever for lubing. Also with not much free play at the lever, may affect the adjustment when time to do adjustment at the clutch in the primary when bike at ambient temperature. The cable was replaced some time ago by a dealer.
Any help or thoughts most welcome.
Sorry not enough info from me. The cable has the adjustment nut and lock nut which is covered by a chrome cover and not a rubber one.
It has been replaced back when.
The one that came off was stainless steel and like wise the replacement one.
The one off had the rubber cover.
The problem is when loosened off no slack with the lever and hard to get the cable and lever off so as to remove from the lever and then lube the cable
