Hello... i have a 1988 fxrp. Last week while riding it just shut off on me. Pushed it to the side of the road, tried starting it again. It eventually started, as soon as i took off it died again. It did this 3x before it wouldnt start anymore. Got it back home, realized the coil was cracked, i replaced battery, coil, wires, and plugs. Wont start. It turns over but no start. Checked kill switch, ignition switch... seem fine. When i checked for spark there was nothing at front plug and very very weak on back one ( im assuming i did the procedure right, takng plug out and put back in wire and lay it on the cylinder) i do have a shop manual and was going to test the ignition module however someone has changed things inside the cone ( dyna s is in there) and the module under right side panel is not hooked up to sensor plate. The white and blue wires on the coil do not come from the module under that right side panel( where the book says they come from) they come from the cone. Any suggestions on how/ what to check next? Im not a mechanic but follow direction pretty well
