I’ve been looking around and cannot find where I can get a new clutch adjustment screw and plate. Maybe just the dealership which will over charge me as usual.
I was adjusting my clutch and put a "little" too much torque on the screw. I believe the plate is now stripped as the screw no longer stays in. Other than the dealership, where else can you buy this part and what exactly would I be asking for? Tried looking up clutch adjustment screw plate and came up with nothing. Thanks
Are you talking about the clutch adjuster screw behind the derby cover? Or the adjuster on the cable? Also what year and model bike? I have 17 FXDL 6 speed. Mine shows in the repair manual that the trans main shaft is the part that supports the clutch assembly. If that is what is stripped, your going to have to take apart the trans. Good luck...

Reason: Adding more info
I found what I needed. Its an 06 Super Glide. Just the threaded release plate and I'm buying a new adjustment screw and nut for good measure also. Should be a fairly quick and easy fix.
