TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM HD....
My 07' wideglide, has a front end "clank". the local shop has had it for a month. they have replaced the forks and trip tree. did nothing so they ended up with an 08' trip tree and forks still same, now harley says they wont buy it back, what do i do??????????

i have an 07 fxd...it has had the clunk since day one...if i hit a bump just right or break hard it clunks. it has clunked for over 7000 miles so frankly i have quit worrying about it...i cant find anything that it hurts...good luck anyway..

My 07 WG has the same thing. Service manager calls it the" wide glide clunk". They adjusted the steering head bearings and it all but went away. Only does it once in awile. He said to put a few more miles on it then bring it in for another adjustment. When I hit 5000 I'll do it myself. Hope this helps!
