Default hd's maintenance website

went to HD's website, highlighted motorcycles, scrolled down to maintenance clicked.
entered vin for my 01flhtci and 10k
all it pulled up was the 10k check list no recalls or bulletins etc.
Did same for my 06flhtci and 10k same results
I thought there was a thread here that it would also pull up a list of any applicable recalls or service bulletins? Thread may have been in one of the other forums here.
If this is correct it means there are none at all on a bike 6 years old...??????
ditto for the one year old.
what happens when some one here with an 07 that has the 0903 bulletin does it pull that up?
Or am I at the wrong HD section?

I just went and did the same thing you did foran 07 FLHTCU and it came up with the same thing. No updates or recalls just the checklist and I just got the 07 update letter in the mail yesterday.

Well I'm thinking HDMOCO is too ASHAMED to put up any recalls on the site.
Their servers probably couldn't handle that much data!

While we're at it, why can't we send them an Email outlining a atta boy or a you screwed up or to get a question answered such as any tech or service bulletins for the bike we own?

Proably afraid of all the complaints they'd get..????

Went to Suzuki M/C website, right on the front page at top is a VISIBLE link to recalls and notices. Click it and just scroll through till you find your year and model (G/F has one).
Why can't HD get with the times and give us the info freely and upfront instead of hiding it?

I pulled up my 07 FLHT soon after I got home with it(12/02/06) and read about the 903 update on this forum. The bulletin showed up then on the website. Last Tue. I checked again because I was taking the bike in for it's 1000 mile sev. on Wed., it did not show up , all that showed up was the check list for the 1000 mile sev. Believe it or not on Thur. I got a sev. bulletin letter in the mail from MoCo erging me to take the bike in to have the update performed on the bike.

wish HD would stop pi$$ing on my leg and stop tryingto convince me it's just raining.
I'd be a lot happier if HD would just be more forthcoming with service, tech, warranty, recall issues and give us the info we need or desire on the website.

The MoCo acts as if the service bulletins are top secret information. I should be able to have access to all information related to my bike, hell I paid for it. They just want you to take the bike to their shop to have it worked on and then they will just stand there and lie to you about any service bulletins (I've never heard of that problem or bulletin). I'm really surprised that we can even buy a service manual.

I found out about the 0903 bulletin because I checked the service section of the Harley website, after the update was done, it was gone from the website.

Where is that located on the website? I checked it once before, but for the life of me, I can't seem to locate it .... Did they move it around? Damn them!!!
