Default Drive Belt Question
Maybe this is a stupid question but here it goes is there anything to treat the drive belt with like a belt lubricant.. be gentle i am new to Harley's

The Aramid and/or Kevlar fibers in the belts made today do not need any lubrication or dressing.

Just for history-
When HD first introduced them some squeaked, Their fix was a very light silicone grease or lube on the edges.
That was a very long time ago.

You shouldnt need a lube of any kind on the belt. That being said- there is always exceptions to every rule. If its making some noise- try a dry lube like graphite.

I do not think putting lube on the belt would be a good idea as it would likely attract dirt and abrasives.
