So, instead of doing a little troubleshooting (simple cheap stuff first, like compression check), you start by buying parts...

You don`t sound like much of a cook, or a mechanic...

Being a smartass is no way to get help, here or anywhere...

Did you use Nitrogen or just plain air to inflate your cams?

I doubt you have enough miles on it to flatten a cam that runs under roller lifters. More likely the lifters.

Got 20k on it and I can feel something knocking at all speeds.

I just did cams and lifters on my 08 because I had some strange sounds (73k miles) coming from my cam chest... took care of the noise. If it's dying at 3k... I'm betting lifters.

My stock cam still looked great btw...
