just got a 07' street bob & i want to install aftermarket forward controls (not h-d)any ideas on plugging inner & outer primary were stock shifter goes?

Didn't the aftermarket kit come with a plug? you could go to your local hardware shop and see if they have any rubber plugs or go up to your HD dealer and see if you can get just the plug. my HD kit only came with one plug for the front, nothing for the rear.

Do a search in the Dyna forum. There are several guys who have used a carriage type bolt with a chrome head. They describe sliding rubber tubing over the threads which secures the bolt once push in the void where the shifter shaft was. I believe they even offer a link to a place to get the bolts they speak of.

nice glide! thanks for the info.small world,the makers mark billboard picture you have there is one i installed a few years back on sunset blvd. in hollywood,ca.
