Alright,
selected a map, and auto tuned it and seems to run s a lot smoother now. No signs or symptoms from the problem before for a couple hundred miles. On the way back from inspection, she started to back fire (more than normal) and the non existent idle thing happened after I got off the highway to a stop.
Things ive done so far
-Cleaner IAC valve
-updated FP3 firmware
-selected map, and autotune
The speedo and tach are not going crazy, so I know it it not the speed sensor
cleaned the iac and still does it
updated map and auto tune.
Imay be leaning towards the tps sensor.
That what are some other things it may be?

Forgot to mention, it started right back up and idled fine after it died...

I thought I would look at the trouble codes on the FP3 app. I found a code title p1010, had no description. Cel stays on for about 3 seconds after startup as well. I’m just wondering if they are linked to the issue. Went on a two hour ride today and didn’t do the cut out at a stop or extensive backfiring. Not a big issue, just would like to figure it out with some of yalls help and experience.

Went on a long ride today and ran damn good the first half. After that she still had the same symptoms as before. I may call Vance and Hines tomorrow and see what’s going on. I read a post with the exact same symtoms as my bike. Even with a little whistle sound it make when I shut it off. The dude said that the throttle paoation needed to be calibrated or something. I Also noticed today that when it died at a stop light, when I started it back up it shot black smoke out the exaust.

Called V&H today, told them all the little details of the symptoms causing this. I sent the map into them and he adjusted the tune a little. He said he hears about this problem a lot on the 07-11 bikes. Going to test ride later today. Will give an update.
