Looking to upgrade the camplate and oil pump on my FXDL. Is the added cost of the S&S TC3 actually providing a better product than the Screamin' Eagle?
I installed a TC3 cam plate during my 103 build. No issues to date that I am aware of.
I may be wrong but I think you need to install the SE oil pump along with the SE cam plate (something about the Stock pump not being able to provide high enough oil pressure), whereas the TC3 and stock pump will work together fine. You can also adjust oil flow/pressure on the TC3. Not sure about the SE.

are you just looking for more oil flow to the top end? If so consider the Baisley spring mod. 30% more oil flow with a $17 spring.
