Chances are your clutch is worn. Fluid should not make any difference.
Shouldn't?.. tranny has gear lube and primary has a wet clutch, how can it not have an affect? .. Stock clutch is pretty solid under regular riding. I checked my clutch discs at about 62k and I could not measure any appreciable wear.
Adjustment and fluids are the two main contributors.. and then you throw in the intangibles like softer footwear
