well did a search and didn't find what I was looking for, so! I ride a Dyna Super Glide. I slammed it with the front and rear Slammer kit and want to change the oil. I'm sure it needs it. Bought it with 19 k and have 26k on her know. What should I be using to change it with
I'm sure opinions will vary. However, if it was me I would start off with the stock oil. With less fork travel a heavier weight oil might make the ride a bit harsh but might prevent it from bottoming out. If you don't like the results then try the next heavier oil. You can always go back if that doesn't work out.
This works for me.. My bike dove too much under braking so I added heavier springs soon after I bought it.. The levels were 4oz's different and the oil was Nasty..
Get a FSM if you don’t have one, get a fork oil measuring tool and do it right. It’s not rocket science but if you do it wrong it can effect the ride. Suspension is a safety issue so do it right.
moton pro makes a great tool for little money you can even get it through Amazon...sorry this is the Canadian site but it’s the same tool.

Just use any hydraulic oil with an ISO #46.
68 if you want thicker oil.
Something inbetween? You can mix the 2 oils if needed.
Shell makes Tellus
Texaco makes Rando
Choose one of those.
And yes, get an FSM!
(I use a combo of #46 & # 68 for my FXDL and Triumph Tiger.)
Tellus is what I use.
