Before and after pictures of my 1999 dyna superglide. Still planning on wrapping the exhaust. Love how it turned out.
Absolute sacrilege imho, FXDX's were the best looking bike in the Dyna range in the early TC era.
It's your bike though and it seems you're happy with the results.
They were 12 Harley mini apes. Run around $80-$100 I think. I ran black mini apes on my sporty and then the chrome on my dyna. Theyre nice bars just not what I wanted anymore.
Did you have to change your cables and brake line to get them on?
not sure about the FXD but this is an FXDX and they came stock with two rotors. When I bought this bike it didn’t have with the FXDX suspension on it which is another reason I decided to kind of customize the way I did. I would’ve most likely kept it as close to stock as possible if it had the suspension.
Is the "Before", the suspension that you received when you bought the bike?
If so, looks Original. 99 FXDX didn't have adjustable suspensions
You've probably been told that before

There were 5 Dynas in the line up in 99. They all have the same part number for rear shocks except the FXDX's. They had Fox rear shocks though l cant remember what adjustability they had.

I was initially referring to the Front because of the previous comments about the Front ... But the same holds true for the Rear.
Non Adjustable on 1999 FXDX (other than Pre-load of course), went to adjustable in 2000. The closest 1999 model that would have received FOX shocks as OE would have been the 99 FXR2 and FXR3

Ok. As l posted previously, they're a different part number so any idea exactly what they are?
