There has to be a way to change the ECM without having to replace your speedometer. Contact the manufacturer.

Dealer should be able to help. It is probably because of the issue of mileage fraud.

Problem is, I don't recall what the exact mileage was before. It's a Harley custom speedo, so maybe they can help. I'll go talk to them.

That white stuff almost looks like road salt...did the repair shop have an explanation as to what and how this happened?

Ill ask again show the build sheet so we can all see what was done, so we can help.

We don't have road salt here. It looks like paint. Tried to wash it off with Windex and a brush and it didn't do much. I don't have a "build sheet", maybe he does.

Maybe residue from a chemical they used to clean off oil after the rebuild?
