Hi im looking intoputting a wide front end on my bob. I like the look of the night train trees just wondering how that would affect the trail?? anyone tried something like that? i want to go with 41mm tubes cause there is such a better selection of trees out there anyone tried this i think it would look pretty sweet..
You're gonna downgrade your front end with smaller forks, why? IIRC, the most rake you can add in the trees is 3° so you won't come too close to the look of the Wide Glide with it's 36° of total rake.

I questioned about doing the black inverted fork form HD from the Softtail night train, HD said its not compatable for the dyna, You will lose rake degrees and will disassemble the fork lock on the bob, plus it was a turning radius issue far as safety.
i would look into buying a whole new front end from somewhere else next week im picking up a sweet looking front end for my bike from ultima its inverted with 5 degree trees 500.00 bucks unless you want to stay with harley parts gl
