So my scoot currently has V&H slip-ons which sound pretty decent but I'm more interested in performance than just aesthetic changes. Right now it seems like Bassani and Thunderheader are the only ones that make a 2-1 full system. Has anyone ran either system? I have heard the Thunderheader can produce decent results for a simple bolt on and sounds nice and loud.
D&D makes several 2 into 1 exhausts and are considered some of the best performing. https://danddexhaust.com/harley/dyna
I have the Fat Cat. They are some of the loudest pipes but the Louvered baffles help if you're concerned about it.
I'm very happy with the sound and performance.

I am digging the way the D&D looks. I am curious what the difference between the Boarzilla and Fat cat. What baffles do you have in the Fat Cat? The website says the louvered baffles are for 80" to 103 motors.
Can't beat a thunderheader for sound, but Supertrapp makes a damn good pipe too. Had one on my 04 WG, and had one on my Low Rider before I got the thunderheader. Guess it depends what you're looking for. If you want loud, thunderheader. If you want a reasonably quite, but deep throaty sound, the Supertrapp will fit the bill. Personally I can't stand the sound of Bassanis.

I had the perforated baffles previously as I have quite a bit done to the motor and push some decent HP, but they are loud. Probably loudest pipe + baffle combo there is that's street legal but also the best performing for exhaust flow. It was too loud for me though so I switched to the perforated. Still great performance but much more manageable sound.
Oh, and I'm pretty sure the only difference is with the Boarzilla you can only get a perforated baffle but you can have it naked or wrapped. Also the muffler is shorter.
SuperTrapp. You'll get tired of the obnoxiously loud competition. You will ride a quieter bike more often.
I really hate pretentious statements like this. I put on over 20k miles last year on my previous bike. My bike is my source of transportation and I rode 11mo outta the year last yes until the snows finally came here in Washington. I never once thought "man I'd love to ride but my exhaust is just so loud"
