I am guessing you to be a North Coaster or close to it.

I am on the shores of Lake Erie myself and know that people around here wouldn't think twice about working on a bike in the living room this time of year ...that and beer by the case with one of Yueungling!

Shocks apart. Lowers to get powder coated & the internals reworked for Racetech gold emulators.

Diving into the project I see, good to go! Aint nothin' to it but to do it, right?! I envy you getting to work inside. I love it when there is something I can bring inside to work on. I cleaned my wheels in the tub!

About 20 years ago I rebuilt a truck transmission in the kitchen. It was the middle of winter, I was losing a syncro and the wife was gone for a week. I did tell her when she got home and although she was much less than thrilled, the kitchen was no worse off for the wear and tear.

Back when I was married (20 years ago) I cleaned and repaired a 79 XR500 dirt bike carburetor at the kitchen table/sink of our apartment. Wife did not like it, but my daughter had a blast helping me!

Time for an update. Removed triple trees, rocker cover and rocker housing. Tomorrow will take stuff to get powder coated tomorrow and hopefully start re-assembly this weekend.

I hope you have better luck with your powdercoater than I'm having with mine. I'm now on week 3 with them and it's starting to wear on my nerves.
