Bike looks great, the even, modest tank raise looks good too! I like the seat and the bars, bars on risers similiar to mine, I'll bet that's a pretty damn comfortable ride, as far as these things go.
Not a fan of the a/c cover nor horn but I like the pipes! I'd like to see how the luggage rack would look pc'd black though. Your bike would look good with the coil under the seat and the horn in a drawer too!
Dig the paint, can't go wrong with black and blue.
Love the pig in the frige trick and the sasquatch of a dog, too cool that one!
Good show
Thanks for all the compliment. It was allot if fun building it. All along my target was to get a HD that handles as good as reasonably possible. The bike handles great and is comfortable to boot.
I also was not a fan of the horn and the A/C will eventually go (money tree dried up). One thing that I do like about them though is that I can squeeze my knees on them which makes long highway rides more comfortable. A coil relocation is definitely coming. Originally I was going to get the luggage rack pc'd - don't know why I did not as originally I envisioned having a blacked out/no chrome bike. The chrome must be growing on me. I'll probably still do the luggage rack, but do not know when.
How much of a lift did you wind up going with on the tank? Have you noticed much change in the capacity with the lift kit?
2" on the front & none at the back of the tank. There is a small reduction in fuel capacity. I wish I had good records, but if I had to guess, a little less than 1/2 gallon.
