Removing Exhaust for Sputhe Installation

I am trying to install a Sputhe rear stabilizer on my 2008 Street Bob. I need to remove the rear exhaust bracket so that I have access to the two long rear isolator bolts. In order to do this, I have to remove the entire exhaust. When I re-install the exhaust, does the exhaust gasket & retaining ring need to be replaced, or can it be re-used?

I reused mine....the gaskets were in good shape

I've had my pipe on and off lotsa times without disturbing the gaskets. Obviously change them if they get messed up, otherwise... Just make sure it seals. I've never had an issue.

First time having the exhaust off, or not for a long time... or first time for you?.. replace the gaskets. Cheap insurance.

First time for me and the bike. Taking it off was easy. Putting it back on was a challenge. I tore up the H-pipe gasket pretty good. I was fighting getting the rear pipe into the cylinder while keeping it in the H-pipe. We will see if it leaks. If it does, it will be time to do it again!
