This is what I use with my sissy bar and can ride with the helmet sitting on top and the strap connected underneath and the D ring gets locked. Found on ebay I believe for ~ $14.

That’s the Harley lock. Works perfect. I mounted mine on the engine guard. https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...-lock-45732-86

How do you remove those tamperproof screws if you ever want to remove it from the bike?

I cut a slot in one of the heads with a small cutoff wheel (Dremel tool). Once you get one screw loose it's easy to remove the other.

Don't use the tamperproof screws. I did, and had to drill them out when I decided to change locations. I don’t think anybody is going to want your helmet so bad that they are going to remove an allen screw, which is what I used the second time.

Most criminals are lazy, and aren’t going to bust their *** to remove your lock.

After reviewing the offering from Harley Davidson, I definitely will not be getting one of those. There's also an issue with getting extra keys made too.

In the description it clearly states duplicate keys are not available.

Do you think you can get duplicate keys from an ebay offering?

I have had 2 keys for 8 years. They are on my fobs. Why would you need more than 2 keys?
