Default HD Steel braided crossover hose
Anyone else put this on and find that it does not cover all the way to where the original how was. I have bare metal now showing that the braided hose does not cover up.

Yep, and the one I got appears to be about 1/2" too long for a proper fit.

My dealer told me dont go there. They may leak. Anyone experience that? Surprised she recommended NOT buying a HD product, so I listened. I saw HCC--- Hill country customs has a detachable(in the middle) braided line on ebay that eliminates draining the tank(allegedly). Anyone try that. Sounds like a great idea.

had mine since winter - no leaks, i'd guess you might get a leak if you take it off and reinstall a lot.
the detachable one sounds nice - i'm going to look into that one.

Yep, Had a major problem with the rubber crush washer.It worked fine for about a month and then it just disinegrated. Worst money I ever spent,had fuel all over my garage one day.
