Yes, you will need a re-map if it wasn't already done to remedy the lean running - or, purchase of SERT, PCIII, etc in the long run will likley be most cost effective since you may well change out A/C, pipes, etc down the road and most remaps I've heard about only get you close to optimum fuel/air mixture. Many would also suggest a dyno tune to get it right on - your choice depending on how well it runs after your mods. Lots of previous threads on this and opinions vary on which way to go, but most all seem to agree that one of the fuel management systems is a must to cure the lean running that is made worse with aftermarket exhaust changes and SE stage 1.
