Choke issues.......
Let's say, hypothetically, a wild kid decides to throw a leg over a carburetor bike and let's say his foot comes down onto the choke **** in such a way that it cracks the plastic assembly and deems it useless unless I carry a pair of pliers with me to pull the damn stem in and out for cold starts.....
How many of you replaced the entire choke cable assembly from the carb back and how much does this item cost? I looked on Ebay and found nothing.
I need to replace it cause pulling the choke wire out with a pair of pliers ain't gonna fly for too much longer. If anyone here has done this procedure, let me know.

Choke cable assemblies run $20. to $30. depending on year and model in J&P catalog. Working in a shop I see many damaged cable assy(s) caused by over-tightening the plastic mount nut so, tighten the new one gently.
Thanks for the reply... I will look in J and P. It seems like it would be easy enough.....not quite as easy as my 74 Harley with the Zenith carb, but easy enough.
Thanks again
