Choke delima
Just reached down to pull out the enrichner (choke) on my bike and realized that little black locking nut is broken. Looks like to fix it right I'll have to replace the whole thing. Do they sell it as one pieice, from the **** to the inside of the carb?? I've got it held in place right now with a tie wrap. Anybody know of a simple fix short of replacing the whole thing?? Nearest dealer is 60 miles from me. It's a Keihin CV carb.

I had to replace mine. Was about 13 bucks at the stealer and as mentioned above they are all on ebay. Once you pull it out of the carb body you pop the old cable out of the spring and pop the new one in. It will make sense when you see it. VERY easy to do. And there is nothing else you can do but replace the whole cable. Just be very careful tightening it back in the carb body and on the handle mount. As you learned they break very easily.
