Starter circuit and Turn Signal Module
While trouble shooting the no start issue on my FXDX I found no power to the starter relay, on a whim I jumped the relay terminals and my Dyna fired right up! I studied the schematic of the starter circuit and I do have 12V at the ignition fuse, I also have 12V at the TSM Battery and Ignition. While I began to think the starter switch might be bad I stumbled across the HardDrive push button solenoid cover and viola, I can start her with ease and we rode together for the first time in months. I decided to teach the old lady how to ride last night. She gently laid the bike down in our yard as she wasn't confident planting her feet. What I noticed right away- the bike was still running. So I'm led to believe the TSM is faulty and might explain why I'm not getting power to the relay. Would you agree?
