I checked for the voltage going to the speed sensor and the ground for the speed sensor. I got 5v going to the speed sensor and the ground was good.

There is a third wire that sends the signal back to the ecm

I know that the mileage is contained in the BCM, so I'm thinking that all speedo functions are controlled there also, that's where I'd be checking since you have BCM fault codes.

When you replaced the speedometer did the new one load the same odometer reading as the old one?
