Alarm options

Been thinking of installing some type of alarm on my 2007 Super Glide. So many ways to run with this, but think it may be a necessity for Sturgis. Suggestions of most reliable, cost effective (I said cheap in my suspension post yesterday, and got flack for it..just trying to do things right but on limited funds at this point). And, go

Unless you're close enough to hear it and do something about it, they're nearly worthless.

If you're that close you don't need it anyway.

Just my opinion.

Chain a Rottweiler to it.

That said, there are many small, portable, battery powered alarms intended for use while travelling and staying in hotels. I bet they would work on a bike.

I have this, it's stupid loud in your hand but gets muffled quite a bit once on a brake rotor. Still its better than nothing, at the very least its a good disc lock, I would like to think someone would maybe want to leave it alone with that alarm going off but really if someone wants to steal it they will steal it.
