Thinking about first Harley - 2013 Super Glide Custom
Dyna Glide ModelsSuper Glide, Super Glide Sport, Super Glide Custom, Dyna Glide Convertible, Super Glide T-Sport, Dyna Glide Police, Dyna Switchback, Low Rider, Street Bob, Fat Bob and Wide Glide.
You got a really good price on that bike. What plans do you have for it?
Honestly, Im still looking into everything. Out of everything out there, the only thing I really want to do is a bagger conversion on it, but thats super expensive from what Ive seen and I may just be better off getting a bagger down the road
just ride it as a Dyna, get a Bagger when your old and slow
Coming off of a few years of sport bikes, Im hoping to use it for some longer distance riding, not sure what I should do to it to get it there. Hoping for a few days of 400+ mile rides, being able to put a few days worth of clothes in, etc.

Save your money on the bagger conversion and enjoy that sweet bike. When it is time to go bagger, get one that starts out a bagger.
When I first started looking at getting my first HD in late 2013, the Super Glide and Street Bob were the bikes I looked at it. Went to a Demo Day event in April or May 2014 and learned about the Low Rider. Ended up with a LR.
You won't be sorry for that $$ & that model. WTF HD STOPPED making it was a question I asked dealer when I bought mine new 5yrs ago. He agreed they should've killed another model vs FXDC.Get an Original air filter cover, cut out the center & install. I did that with my 2014 love it!

HD stopped making the SGC because of the reintroduction of the LR as a mid-2014.

Or just go do what I did on my barebones ness , see below Also Look for a stainless steel clean out cover if the filter bothers you. no need to cut. They do have a dyna specific filter but i didnt want it. The 2011 FXDC custom, low, wide are the cats meow. Just the perfect size. As my salesman said about the 883. Its a bitch bike.. got the dyna and never looked back. Did some up grades but thats a matter of preference. Its just a good all around bike. Mines paid for and I have absolutely NO INTENTION of swaping to another model.
Also, find out if it was tuned for a stage 1 at the dealer. At that price i think so. The can be had cheaper but not in near that condition.
