DYNA SHOCKS DYNA SHOCKS.
Can anyone tell me for sure if shocks for a 2001 Sportster XL will work on a 2007 Dyna FXDC. I have a new pair still in the box of 11.5" shocks I bought for my Sporty and traded it in on my FXDC before I got around to installing them. Also has anyone had any experiences using 11" shocks on their Dynas, such as fender rub or bottoming out the fender on bumps.

i can tell you that my stock 06 bob shocks fit on my buddies 01 sportster 1200. rides pretty stiff though due to the lighter weight. my guess is that they will fit but will most likley be a little soft due to the increased weight.

Hey guys thanks for the input. I think I'll give them a try, since they are alredy bought and paid for. If they turn out to be to soft then I'll buy ones for a Dyna and put the Sportser shocks up for sale.
