Default Bike is in pieces

Hey guys. It is a beautiful day out and I wish that I rode to work. Unfortunately my bike is in 50 pieces in the garage. I am trying to change out to the chrome switch housings and chrome switches. Not a hard undertaking in the slightest, except I can't get my turn signal wires to re-route through the handlebars of my Wide Glide. That is what I get for following the directions. Would have been a lot easier to open the turn signal housings and cut the cables from there and re-solder when finished. Now I have the wires pulled out through the handlebars and can't get them back through. They go all the way to the middle of the bar and then can't make that 90 degree turn to go down towards the frame. What is the trick here? What am I missing? I have tried pulling them with string, weed eater wire and yarn. They are getting hung up in that mess wire sleeve. Any suggestions are greatly welcomed.

Wire lube. You should be able to find some in the electrical department of Home Depot or Lowes. It's a teflon gell that you glob all over the wires, then you tape them to your pull string (well, tape them first to your pull string then glob em up) then slowly pull them through.

Thanks for the reply. Anything is worth a shot. Problem is no matter how much I tape the wires, the pull string comes off at that 90 degree turn at the bottom of the bars. Maybe the lube will help. I will let you know what happens when I start again after work.

Could be that the wires are bunching up at the bend make sure you don't feed too much slack into the bars. Also stagger the wires like bikerdog 134 said.
