2010 dyna with mid controls. I have installed the attitude adjuster, and would like to get a different outer primary cover so I can adjust the tensioner without removing the outer cover. Anyone know what my options are? Tried to do a search, was not successful.

 

The 2005 Dyna Low Rider had a chain inspection plate. Not sure if it fits or not. Maybe find a cover at a swap meet, do a test fit, then order a pristine one thru J&P Cycles.

 

Or maybe call J&P's Tech line for assistance. Or the dealer.

 

Could check if the outer primary gaskets from a 99-05 are the same part number as an 06+. If the gasket has the same part number or a revised part number, then the outer primary will fit the same. Don’t think they are interchangeable though

 

99-05 and 06 and up primary covers are not inter-changeable.
