I've had a few aftermarket exhausts on a few different bikes, inlcuding my Switchback and I"ve always bought OEM gaskets. No leaks have ever happened....worked really well. I would do that.
I have tried some different gasket before but oem has been the easiest for me to install. I dont think you will gain power or what not with this gasket(or something you would notice). The local hd shop said to me that the screaming eagle was thinner to give better airflow and then continued that it was just bs. Its more delicate and harder to install.

It depends on the shape of the end of the pipe. Ask TH what they recommend. If you buy the pipe new,maybe gaskets are included. Stock type gaskets came with my S&S pipe,so that's what I used.

SE gaskets are no more difficult to fit than oem ones.. They are 'shaped' [thinner at one end] for a better seal . V&H recommend them for some of their systems, that do you ?

Naah, they thinner and more delicate. In other words, they collapse easier. Thats just common sense no? Is there any documented tests that show us benefits from those "performance" exhaust gaskets?
Just use what the exhaust company tell you to use or else oem works just fine. Doubt that these performance stuff would help you pop a wheelie anyways.
