Lightest useable (non-dental) mirrors available?
M'gadget Mo.View
These are convex mirrors with NO GLASS. The reflective surface is coated aluminum. Beside the weight savings, this makes them first-surface mirrors, which also excites me. Look it up if that's Greek to you. Old school projector TV guys probably get it.
Anyway,
86 - 175 grams, depending on style.
Just one example. They have a couple dozen variations.
I weighed some of the mirrors I have on hand and came up with
(left to right)
404g - stock steel
320g - P&A slotted alloy
238g - Joker Machine Cone
A 500 gram savings is 1 pound.

The HDB seems to be integrated into their hand guards.
Both appear to be excellent solutions for ADV riders but I don't see them really ever entering the Harley world.

Here ya go. If they arent light enough just start punching holes in them till it suits you, and as a bonus theyll be more aerodynamic!
