I just ordered a set of new take offs from an Electraglide. The price was right an I figure they've got to be better than the stockers on my Bob.I know there's somebody running the 12" profile shocks on thier Bob but these are stock length just want to know if anyone has tried them and how difficult are they going to be to install.
Hey bro, I just put a set on mine. The ol lady and I went on a ride last night and they do ride a lot better, plus she said the ride was 100 times better for her on the back. here is a link to my pics so you can check out different pics of my bike with the shocks on and where I mounted the air valve.
Thanks, those look good I think I'm going to be real happy with them.I don't mind the little bit of extra hieght either I'm forever draggin stuff in the corners.
hey hey hey i will get mine in the mail tomorrow! i am pumped up! i ordered 12 in chrome lowering shocks... I was going to get the 13in and then get a lowering kit (the lowering blocks) they will work find if you go with a 1.75 drop on the kit with 13 in kit. that will give you a 3/4 drop still and they work great! be sure the shocks are capped and all the oil is still in them! i am stoked to be floating on a cloud when i ride! i will post pics Thursdaynight after the install!
OOOOH YA!! the new shocks came this morning! As soon as the fittings come from HD i will be set! i should have pics and a review posted (with any luck) tonight!! hell ya!
Thanks, those look good I think I'm going to be real happy with them.I don't mind the little bit of extra hieght either I'm forever draggin stuff in the corners.
