2004 FXDWG Front End Torque Help Needed
I'm looking for the torque specs for:
1) the lower tree fork pinch bolt
2) the handlebar riser nuts
3) the front fender attachment nuts/hex screws.
I could "guess" at it but would rather do it right! ( plus I have to justify the $100 torque wrench I bought!) Thanks in advance and see you on the road!

PS> if there is a torque table available online I'd love a link to it as well! I'm going over the bike to try and get a "feel" for everything. Thanks.
1) the lower tree fork pinch bolt 30to 35 ft lbs.
2) the handlebar riser nuts 30 to 40 ft lbs.
3) the front fender attachment nuts/hex screws.15 to 21 ft lbs
This is what I found in my maintenance manual. I'm pretty sure these are the the numbers you need. Any more questions just ask. I hope this helps. By the way, I have a 2002 FXDWG so everything should be the same.

Here's a picture of my new baby!

Don't have the BR's anymore 'cause I didn't like them - too loud and I don't like the look. Got some stock pipes with the early Screaming Eagles and I love 'em.
Ah crap, forgot the reason you posted... HawkDawg is right on the money - I just looked in my '04 WG manual and the numbers are the same.
For me a Fxwg has to be about the best all around riding bike made.
Hope you enjoy yer sled dude !

I'm going to search the board for more info and tips/tricks for the bike. She just turned over 6000 miles today but I want to know what to look for!
Thanks again everyone.

Ride safe.
I got Kurkakyn Switchblade pegs. The pegs are a little wider and have the stirups that flip down for longer rides.
The kind of seat you have will either slide you forward or back or up which you probally already know to help assist the way yer legs ride on the pegs.
. I'm older and like the pillow top seat for my candy butt ! O.K. my wife made me git it for her along with the 19" sissy bar.
. Pipes are all about do you want sound, looks or performance. Iwanted performance so I went with the D&D with Quiet Baffels. They are still plenty loud.
If you ever change yer tires try some Metzler on the wide glide. The 880 metzlers made my bike ride better. had 90 series on front and went with 80 series. Went from 160/70 17" on back to 170/60 17 as a test. The tires are 1/4 " wider, and the lower profile pulled the tire down from rubbing a little. With 2 up they hit holes in the road a little harder. On the dunlop tires there was a flat place in the center of the tire. This caused the tires to walk when the road was newly paved and uneven. Changing to the metzler made them more rounded. Next time around I will probally go with 180/55 17" or if I buy some RC wheels from www.bikersimage.com I will porbaly go with 180/55 18" cause the wheel folks don't make 17" wheels and I don't want 16" wheels for the height difference.
If you have stock grips look later on at the Kurkakyn Iso grips. Will take some of the vibration off yer hands.
Have you got used to the raked front end when you git slow on the WG. It's real nice when yer riding but when you slow down you might feel the weight of the forks when they tilt at real slow turning speeds, this is where you want to be careful when turning in somewhere. You probally found this out. It gits a little harder when riding 2 up. I got like 6" ground clearance on the 07 bike so it might be a little more for me. The ground clearance is great for curves and leaning.
O.K. I'm off the soap box, but I wanted to give you a couple of things to think about. And I hope you enjoy yer bike.
