Default Trickle Charger

Where can I get a trickle charger for my 06 FXDI? I am going to hook my baby up here soon for the winter, and have heard good things about these type of chargers.

Thanks
Matthew

I've been using the Deltran Waterproof Battery Tender.. Rated at 12V, 800 Milliamp.

I'm sure you can get them at many locations, and I believe I got mine at J&P's Cycle.

Don't get a trickle charger; it'll toast your battery. Get what's called a battery tender, as OldFenderGuy posted.

I have a battery tender from here: www.batterytender.com and I love it.

Check out the site and see which model suits you best. They have a list of dealers also.

I have a battery tender, it was recommended by my mechanic who used to work at my local Harley dealer and has one on his personal bike. He now runs his own shop and sells them there also in Northern Indiana. I have also seen them available at shops called Batteries Plus. You can check out their website at BatteriesPlus.com

Another vote for the Battery Tender. I bought a genuine HD unit (Battery Tender Jr.) off E-bay and its great. I have fried a battery myself using a tricke charger. OOOOPs!

I keep my FXWDG under a carport next to the house, and for extra protection during the winter I also put a fitted cover over it.

The bike itself is out of the rain/snow/sun elements, but I run the Battery Tender cord from my house to the carport. One good thing about the Deltran model I have is that it's completely waterproof, so moisture won't bother it in the least..

It's also great during the summer to use on my boats trolling motor battery. Just hook it up and forget about it, no matter what the weather conditions are like.
