Insurance
This post might apply to some of the military members on this forum that use USAA insurance. Last year when I moved back to the States USAA passed me off to Progressive for my motorcycle insurance and since USAA has been so good to me over the past 20 years I just went with Progressive and didn't shop around. Yesterday I got my renewal notice for anther year and my premium had increased by about $50.00 and I haven't gotten any tickets or had any accidents. Needless to say I called Progressive and they told me that they had to raise all their rates in Alabama. Well it just pissed me off that I had to pay more so I went to the web and started searching. Long story short I got same coverage with lower deductables for about half the price with Geico. I am not trying to sell insurance but I just wanted to share my exerience so maybe someone else can save a few (hundred in my case) bucks. Hope this is helpful to somebody else. I will let you know if the service sucks and I have to go back to Progressive

Yes, you can tell them how much you have in extras. I believe I even doubled that amount when I switched. You can go to their website and put in your info and they will quote you at the end. I called them when I saw the quote because I just assumed that I did something wrong since my quote was $280.00 when I had be paying $500.00 per year.
