Default Crankcase pressure

Hey all,
my 17 lrs has been sitting for about two years and I finally decided to get her back on the road. After starting it up and letting it idle for about a minute I checked the oil and heard pressure escape when I removed the cap. I ran it a few more times and everytime I crack the cap I hear pressure release....you guys ever notice this? To my understanding there should be zero positive pressure in the crankcase.

It’s also worth mentioning I performed compression cold/hot with acrs disconnected and got about 200psi on each cylinder. The manual says that’s within spec for the 110 but I have the screaming eagle 117 so I dont know if the spec is different.
And of course nobody in town has a damn leakdown gauge to test cylinder leakage. I did verify the pcv ports were not plugged.

Check out the vented dipstick that Feuling is selling . Check with your dealer and see if if your bike didn't fall under a tech bulletin/recall on the scavenge side of your oil pump.

Ive never heard of that, do you have any more info on the recall so I can look it up? I don’t have a dealer anymore....long story. Thank you.

I was watching a video from the Harley Tech on youtube talking about the M8 issues and the oil pump came up in discussion. I think on the HD website you can check for recalls on your bike.
