Issue with Fuel Gauge / Sending Unit
Hello everyone,
I have an issue with my 2014 FXDB Street Bob where my fuel gauge is reading wrong when the bike gets low on gas. The low fuel light instead of staying on solid will blink. It'll also say "LO RANGE" when I know there's gas left. I've been using the trip meter to refuel at around 170ish miles. Not a big deal until I had a issue the other day on the road where the bike cut out as if it wasn't getting fuel. Is there a certain part of the fuel sending unit I should check out first before I'm forced to buy the entire unit from Harley? Thank you in advance for the input.

I bought a wide glide a few years ago and played with the sender inside the tank to see if I could correct the problem. Nope, Everything was looking good. The one in my 15 Low Rider is the same way. Other people complained about the same problem and they were stymied too. Use you odometer.
