baffled by baffles
have been running vance and hines straight shot slip ons since february. yesterday i installed v & h's quiet baffles. they're not. i don't notice any real difference in sound. perhaps a slight bit less raspy. also, i thought the baffles, with more back pressure, would improve mid range performance. but i don't think there's a difference. the bike does seem to be running hotter. is that likely or is is my imagination?
also, i'm heading out for a 10 day trip and was thinking about carrying a can of fix a flat. does anyone know if that can work on a tubed tire?
thanks.

Low06,
Did you also install a high flow A/C? If you did then then you created an even leaner condition than the bike bike originally began with. You need a SERT to do a remap or have a remap done to richen up the fuel mixture. This will help cool it down.

Fix a flat isn't recommended for tube tires. If you have a flat on a tube tire you really need to replace the tube. If you are a HOG member you can get road side assistance to get you somewhere you can get it replaced.
