The way I like to hang a lot of curves . If it would fit under my bike don't think I would go with a tire bigger than a 200.
I want a very ridable bike. With a tire in the 300 range it wouldn't be as ridable.
What about the rim of the Dunlop of HD kit? 5.5 or 4.5?
If I put the HD kit I use a 180/60 R17, also because I must have signed the different size in my cyrcolationcard in Italy from HD , what Avon could I put for the next tyre?
I am not sure what you are asking dav.elis. The rim used in the HD kit for this swap is your stock rim. It is a 4.5 incher. If you scroll up I think you will see a few solutions presented on both an Avon and a Metzler option from other members and bosken... that is one FATA$$ ride there.. absolutely sick lookin.. I love it... wish I could afford it.
Well this is great information guys, thanks! I was looking to just purchase the SE Wide Tire kit out of the HD catalog over the winter, but it seems I can save some money to put elsewhere by just purchasing the tire.
Just as a mater of information.
I run a 200 Metz on the back of my 07 FXD.
I also use a custom wheel that is 6" wide x 18"
No problems and the look is sweet.

Nice to hear, but how much clearance is there left between the tire side edge and the belt?
I planto mount a 190/50 17tire.. (200 doesn´t work I read). Could that work?
have spoke with hogpro. 200 will fit, as long as the correct width rim is used and the flashers are removed. street bob by the way, don't know about the other dynas with the bob tail fender.
