Default Ape adding help

My son has dropped off his 2003 wideglide. We are going to be putting some 14 in apes on. Question is, where are the handlebar wiring plugs at to remove and add the extended wires?

Usually under the tank. Hot tip for when (if) you run wires through the bars, drop a string in the end of the bar and blow compressed air into it. The string will pop out the hole at the bottom. Then tape your wires to it and pull them up.

Look in your Factory Service manual, it's in there.

I just did this to my 1999 FXDS convertible. The main harness is stuffed inside the frame channel. In order to get it our you must remove the access cover between the rear tire and the bottom of the fender. Cut the cable tie holding the excess wiring loom and you can work the harness out from the frame rail at the front of the bike.

Don't frick around with re-pinning or cutting and soldering, do it right and get a wiring extension from these guys https://namzcustomcycleproducts.com/...ring-products/it's a no brainer.
