Default How high riser to handle bar

I would like to raise my handle bars on my 2013 street bob . Presently they are mini aps 10 in. Can I add two inches via a 3 inch riser and not need to re cable or interfere with my fall away.
Right now I have the oem one inch riser.
Thank You,
Roger

Im not entirely sure of the stock height on the street bob but I changed to 12" mini apes and 1" risers on my fxdl using the stock cables. Mine had the gross stock angled risers and bars that rose a few inches ontop of that originally

That's good to know. I also have a FXDL (2016) and look forward to getting rid of that riser/handlebar/headlight contraption. I've heard 10" LD San Diego bars will work with the stock cables. Your setup gives me more confidence that it will.

Try taking the top clamp off the risers and lift your existing bars up a few inches. Take a good look at the clutch cable and brake line. Don’t forget to consider the extra bit of slack needed to turn lock to lock, may possibly need to pull a bit of extra wire out of the backbone.

The important thing to remember is that if you add 2 inches of height to your handlebars you’ll also have to get a 2 inch longer handlebar “Get Even” whip.
